PMD - June 2015 - Insects & Wildlife

Lots of trout - some are BIG - and happy fishermen. And hatch is good! What else needs be reported? I can't emphasize the importance of learning and understanding of hatch - to catch more trout and to be a happy fisherman.
Followings are another picture gallery from past several day with minimum comments. I know some of you out there find these interesting and I bet these pictures will stimulate your fly-tying enthusiasm and adventurous minds!!

PMD - June 2015: Trout & Anglers

Season has arrived.............. Pale Morning Dun (Ephemerella) hatch on Livingston's world-famous spring creeks. For the past several days, I was fortunate to visit and fish DePuy's (www.depuyspringcreek.com) and Armstrong's (www.armstrongspringcreek.com) Spring Creeks.
Beautiful, gorgeous, fisherman's paradise,........say whatever adjectives one can think of.........
"Is hatch good this year?", "are there lots of fish in the creek?",......... ask whatever questions one may have.............
Let pictures do the talking.

Evening hatch/spinner falls at DePuy's

 Armstrong's one of iconic spots.

Glorious start of the glorious day!!
 Inhaled both dry-flies of mine!!
 Typical cut-bow hybrid in Armstrong's

Gutted, cooked, and served fresh!!?? - not from the creek but from Alaska!!!
Evening spinner.......one to remember........

Sight-nymphing before the hatch

 As the hatch went by.........
Another nice brown!? - Look carefully, especially markings of gill plate. I think we know who it is. The one right above caught again at the same spot but with the different fly and method!!

 Another spinner evening to remember.......
